Thomas worked for Teach For America as Director of Individual Giving, National Development between Jun 2016 and Jan 2021, for City Year as Impact Manager between Jul 2012 and Jun 2016, for Peace Corps as English Teacher and Peace Corps Volunteer between Sep 2009 and Jun 2012.
