Susanne has studied at in Ancient Near Eastern Archaeology, Bioarchaeology, Prehistory, Classical Archaeology between 1987 and 1995, then at Fanny-Leicht-Gymnasium Stuttgart between 1976 and 1985.

Susanne worked for The David Brown Book Company as Design & Production Manager between Jan 2008 and Feb 2012, for Archaeoplan as Owner between Jan 2001 and Dec 2007, for University of Tübingen as Cartographic Specialist between Jan 1995 and Feb 2000.
