Pierre has studied at Institut national polytechnique de Toulouse in Biomaterials between 1991 and 1994, then at Université Paul Sabatier (Toulouse III) in Supramolecular chemistry between 1986 and 1991.

Pierre worked for BIOMEDICAL TISSUES as co-founder between Oct 2010 and Apr 2018, for Centre de Transfert de Technologies du Mans as Responsable Departement Matériaux between Sep 2002 and Mar 2003, for Isotis as Senior Research Scientist between Jul 1997 and Aug 2002, for AIST as Post-doctoral fellow between Jul 1995 and Jul 1997.
