Ron has studied at The Citadel in Political Science between 1973 and 1977, then at Troy State University in International Relations between 1978 and 1980.

Ron worked for IO and Baselayer as SVP, Government Programs between Jul 2011 and Aug 2015, for CSC as General Manager, Defense Intelligence Operations between 2006 and 2010, for United States Air Force as Career Intelligence Officer between 1977 and 2005.
