David has studied at University of North Florida in Business Administration and Accounting between 1979 and 1981, then at Florida Jacksonville Community College between 1975 and 1977, then at Fletcher High School between 1972 and 1975.

David worked for US Navy as Avionics Technician between Nov 1986 and Jul 2007, for City of San Diego as Airport Operations Supervisor between Dec 1992 and May 1998.
