Christelle has studied at University of Eastern Africa, Baraton in Accounting between 1998 and 2001, then at Maastricht School of Management in Corporate Strategy and Economic Policy.

Christelle worked for Urwego Opportunity Bank as Head of Credit between Nov 2015 and Oct 2016, for I & M Bank ( Rwanda) Limited as Head of Risk between Oct 2005 and Oct 2015, for British American Tobacco Rwanda as Planning and Administration Manager between Mar 2003 and Oct 2005, for KPMG Rwanda as Auditor between Jul 2001 and Feb 2003.
