Iva worked for Applied StemCell, Inc. as Principal Scientist between May 2016 and May 2020, for UC Riverside as UCR Stem Cell Core Manager between 2013 and 2015, for UC San Diego as Assistant /Associate Project Scientist between 2006 and 2012, for Geron as Scientist between 2004 and 2005, for Washington University School of Medicine as Postoctoral trainee between 2002 and 2004, for Washington University School of Medicine as Research Associate between 1999 and 2001, for Harvard University as Visiting Scientist between 1998 and 1999, for ICGEB as Research Scientist between 1997 and 1998.
