Anthony has studied at Aberystwyth University in BSc. (Hons.) Microbiology between 1987 and 1990, then at University of South Wales in PG Diploma between 2000 and 2002, then at The Knowledge Accademy (June 2017), then at CITB (Site Safety Plus) between 2019 and 2019, then at Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) between 2012 and 2012.

Anthony worked for SEVERN TRENT SERVICES OPERATIONS UK LIMITED as Delivery Lead (Growth Projects) between Sep 2006 and Oct 2019, for Severn Trent Laboratories as Sales Manager (Water Utilities - analytical services) between Nov 2001 and Sep 2006, for Severn Trent Laboratories (formerly HYDER Environmental) as Senior Microbiologist between Sep 1990 and Nov 2001.
