Aaron has studied at Weizmann Institute of Science in Plant Molecular Biology and Biochemistry between 2000 and 2004, then at Tel Aviv University in Ecology and Environmental Quality between 1997 and 1999, then at Tel Aviv University in Biology, General between 1992 and 1996.

Aaron worked for University of Udine as Visiting Professor between Aug 2014 and Aug 2015, for Università degli Studi di Verona as Visiting Professor between May 2015 and Jul 2015, for Max Planck Institute for Plant Molecular Physiology as Postdoctoral Fellow between Oct 2005 and Sep 2008.
